A Story From the Road…

So, I must share a fun story from our adventures. The story has to do with the photo that is next up in the Queue of Stitch with Bambi, Flower, and Thumper from the Epcot Flower and Garden festival.

First off, it’s my birthday and we’re spending it at Epcot (which is my favorite) so I’m all like:

And we’re in the butterfly garden and I see the Bambi awesomeness and set Stitch down for his photo as I always do and snap the photo:

Now, normally after a photo, I grab Stitch and I’m on my way but since there were so few people around, I took a couple extra moments to admire the beautiful butterflies around me.

So I’m enjoying the world around me and all of a sudden this little girl appears from nowhere and is like “Mommy look, someone left a Stitch, he can come home with us” and she’s moving towards him all like:

And I turn around and I’m like:

So I start hustling towards him on a mission cause this isn’t gonna happen so I’m all like:

Cause I really thought shit was gonna go down and I was gonna have to go mental on her and be all like:

Thankfully it didn’t come to that and I grabbed him off his perch prior to the madness but then the unexpected happen and she got all upset that I grabbed him and I’ll be damned if the little brat didn’t start crying like I had actually smacked her. So now it’s awkward and I’m standing there holding my little stuffed Stitch and she’s all like:

And then her Dad comes barrelling over with murder in his eyes all like:

And I figure I have two options. Either running or explaining. Not wanting to be hunted down by Disney security, I explain the Stitch is mine and that his daughter was going for it and I grabbed him to keep him safe. He kept looking at me funny so we left…
